New York City School Construction Authority On-Call Architectural Design Services dD+P is working with the NYC SCA on the programming, design, inspection, rehabilitation and construction administration services for school facilities and playgrounds throughout New York City. The firm has completed design documents for over 30 school improvement projects involving NYC school buildings built from the 1890's to the 1990's. Design services for these projects include exterior restoration, classroom and laboratory spaces, MEP and structural upgrades, administrative offices, and landscape design. The wide range of building dates has deepened our project experience in preservation and adaptive reuse through--many of the schools required improvements in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior's Guidelines for Historic Properties and the NY State Office of Historic Preservation.
