Educational Alliance Preschool This pre-nursery called for a complete gut renovation of the 6,000 square ground floor of a Union Square brick warehouse. Standard household items are used in an imaginative way, creating a warm and friendly environment for young children. Budgetary constraint, multi use needs and structural impediments combined to require innovation on a number of different levels. Cost conscious design, technical skill, and a thorough analysis of function resulted in a highly attractive, serviceable space completed within cost and on a timely basis.
