NYC SCA — P.S. 911M Center for Continuing Education dD+P provided design and construction management services for the new Science Laboratory Classroom at the Center for Continuing Education, P.S. 911M, in Manhattan. This fast-tracked project for the NYC SCA entailed a complete demolition and renovation of existing 4th floor classroom space in the NYC School's 44,000 sf, 5-story building on East 128th Street. New laboratory facilities include: science lab teaching desk, lab work areas for 25+ students including one ADA desk, complete MEP and data communications upgrades including Wi-Fi technology, asbestos abatement, and new furniture systems.
