Berger, AIA, ASLA, Principal, presented Green and Clean: Setting New Standards for Facility Design as the opening program at the AIA New York State Convention on September 15, 2005. Introduced by Georgi Ann Bailey, Director of Programs for the NYS AIA, the program was attended by architects, planners, and facility managers from across the northeast region. Mr. Berger demonstrated how the dD+P Project Team achieved new standards of environmental design excellence through planning a sustainable, environmentally friendly building — the Grand Avenue Maintenance Facility and Bus Depot in Maspeth, Queens, New York.
