Co-op City Greenways
di Domenico + Partners is preparing the concept design of two greenways located at the center and south end of Co-op City for the RiverBay Corporation. The greenways are surrounded by mid-and high-rise residential buildings, two schools and smaller pockets of green space and parks. It is the intent to integrate the greenways into RiverBay's larger vision of providing green space for residents of Co-op City — places to live and play within a safe environment. Issues regarding use, sustainability, storm water management, community participation and safety are taken into consideration in the design.
