The awards program is sponsored by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and recognizes recently completed projects that enrich Brooklyn's neighborhoods and economy.

 Andrew Berger, AIA, ASLA was appointed to the Sustainability & Environment Enhancement Committee for the City of White Plains. Mr. Berger, who also serves on the White Plains Conservation Board, was appointed by Mayor Adam Bradley.

 Coming soon in 2010: dD+P is installing an extensive green roof system on its new studio building. The environmental benefits of green roof systems include reducing heat island effect, stormwater runoff, and operating costs. Small plots of intensive test beds for research and informational purposes will be incorporated.
