Atlantic Terminal Urban Design Guidelines

di Domenico + Partners prepared urban design guidelines for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in conjunction with the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and New York City Transit (NYCT) as part of its work on the new Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. The Terminal is a major transportation hub linking three subway stations and the LIRR commuter rail. The design guidelines address storefront retail and public spaces and were established to ensure that the development's scale, composition, articulation and palette of materials was consistent with the MTA project's architectural context.
