Times Plaza Kiosk at Atlantic Terminal

di Domenico + Partners achieved The Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award for the restoration work at The Times Plaza Kiosk, part of the larger $200 million Atlantic Terminal Complex project encompassing a complete rehabilitation of the fourth busiest terminal in the New York City Transit System. The ATC Complex is at the crossing of Atlantic, Flatbush, and Fourth Avenues, known as Times Plaza. The Kiosk was designed circa 1908-10 by Heins and Lafarge, architects of similar station houses throughout the transit system, of which only a handful remain. The Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award is the highest honor presented by the NY Landmarks Conservancy recognizing excellence in historic preservation.
